Can we say ‘hundred’ instead of ‘one hundred’?

Is it incorrect to use just ‘hundred’? Like in Hindi we say ‘Sau‘ for 100.

For example:

a) He paid me hundred rupees.
b) Sudhir charged me one hundred rupees.
