The announcer begins by saying that they have invited three experts Ajay Jadeja, Sunil Gavaskar and Dean Jones. He adds that NDTV Indian of the Year award is presented to Sachin Tendulkar this year.
Then, we are shown an excerpt of an interview of Sachin where he talks about who have been his inspirations. He says that he admired Sunil Gavaskar and Vivian Richards and he wanted to become as solid as Gavaskar and as aggressive as Vivian Richards.
Then, we hear Gavaskar talk about how Sachin has always been so very respectful to him. He also adds that it was his unfulfilled ambition to be able to dominate bowlers of his time and hit big sixes just like Sachin does. Thus, when Gavaskar sees Sachin destroying bowlers, he feels as if his unfulfilled ambition is being fulfilled by Sachin which gives him a lot of pleasure.
Gavaskar also adds that Sachin is a combination of orthodox and unorthodox styles.
