A discussion of the interesting phrases and words used in this speech is as follows:
I wish I could be like that = You use this when you wish for something which you do not have (I wish I could be the son of the prime minister OR I wish I could be seven feet tall OR I wish I could fly)
In course of time = After a while or after enough time (In course of time, everyone recognized that cutting down all the trees was a folly OR the child grew up to be handsome man in course of time)
Breeds = Creates (Hatred breeds more hatred OR, Laziness breeds failure)
Elite = Very special (NSG commandos are an elite group which undergoes special training OR IIM graduates are en elite bunch and everyone has high expectations of them)
Bounce back = Come back (Failed and bounced back means got up after suffering failure and achieved success, eg: Amitabh’s first several movies failed but he bounced back brilliantly with Zanjeer)
USP = Unique Selling Prospect, distinguishing quality (The USP of BodhiSutra English on Phone is that it gives you 10 times more spoken English practice than any other program)
Dazzled = Amazed, impressed (Everyone was dazzled by the young dancer’s talent OR He joined the IAS being dazzled by the glamour associated with it)
Work ethic = The way you treat your job (His work ethic is responsible for his fast rise to the top, there are several other people more talented than him but no one produces consistent results like he does)
Prime example = One of the first examples you can think of (Amitabh is a prime example of someone who is an outstanding achiever)
