Pt Ravi Shankar, aged 92, passed away yesterday, December 11. Widely regarded as the man who took Indian classical music to North America and the world, he has been widely respected for his accomplishments. This documentary touches upon some pages from the life of the maestro, especially about her daughter Anoushka Shankar who herself is a highly regarded musician the world over. His grandfather is really affectionate. I love spending time with him.

When they saw him perform on stage, everyone was struck with awe.
Tranquility = Calm and peace
There is so much tranquility in this small hilly town, I wish I could spend my life here.
